Good and godly men disagree over this question: To whom is the sacrament of baptism properly administered?
Those who hold to the credo-baptist position (i.e., only repentant adults may be baptized) defend their position in a relatively simple manner by pointing to examples of adult baptism in the NT.
Those who hold to the oiko-baptist position (i.e., entire households with one believing parent may be baptized) defend their position in a more complicated manner by explaining God’s administration of the Covenant of Grace in both the OT and NT.
