As previously reported, a motion was made at this year’s General Assembly to hire an organization to assess our denomination with respect to potential abuse problems.

The specific organization that was recommended is called G.R.A.C.E. and Basyle ‘Boz’ Tchividjian is both the founder and a continuing board member.

Boz is the grandson of Billy Graham, but it seems he does not share the convictions of his grandfather (or of most evangelical Christians for that matter).

The following screenshot from Twitter appears to show that Boz “liked” the public announcement that failed presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg and his “husband” Chasten have started a family.

The hospital bed and bracelets give the initial impression that one of them might be transsexual and was impregnated, but I confirmed that both are indeed biological males.

The Bible speaks very clearly when it comes to the lifestyle of Pete and Chasten: “Knowing the judgment of God, they which commit such things are worthy of death” (Romans 1:32a).

However, and when it comes to Boz “liking” their lifestyle, the Bible is equally clear. Scripture not only condemns those who engage in such perversity, but also those who “have pleasure in them that do them” (Romans 1:32b).

If the OPC truly does need an abuse audit — and that is a huge IF, by the way — it should choose an organization that is staffed by people who share our Christian convictions rather than those who are not even willing to identify as evangelical.

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3)

The answer is, “No” and members of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church should begin voicing their concern to their Pastors and Elders before the G.R.A.C.E. audit is proposed again at the next General Assembly.
