In the beginning, God created man in his own blessed image that we might love, glorify, and serve him forever.
The first man’s name was Adam and he was appointed by God as the father and representative of the entire human race.
Adam was given everything his heart could have ever desired. Nevertheless, he was not grateful and chose to declare his independence from God. He rebelled against his Creator and King.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” [Romans 5:12]
Because of our first father’s sin, we are all born into this world as children of wrath and sons of disobedience who are deserving of only one thing: HELL
The good news of the Gospel, however, is this: “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” [Romans 5:19]
Since the first Adam failed us all so miserably, God sent a last Adam into this world to succeed where the first so miserably failed: JESUS
Jesus kept God’s law perfectly and then gave up his life as a payment for our sins so that we could be forgiven and receive and eternal inheritance: HEAVEN
Would you like to be saved? If so, then repent of your sins and cry out to the Lord for mercy. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” [Romans 10:13]
