If you have never read the Bible cover-to-cover, you really should.

It is not that complicated. If you read only four chapters per day, you will be finished in less than a year.

There are also more structured reading plans available for those who like to check boxes. See below.

Whichever plan you choose, just stick with it. The method is not as important as the main goal: Knowing God through his Word.

The M’Cheyne Method (offers a daily variety of genre)

The Five Day Method (gives you the weekend off)

The Variety Method (i.e., more variety than the M’Cheyne plan)

Chronological Method (follows the history of events)

Cover-to-cover Method (no frills, just read straight through)

Alternating Approach (readings from OT and NT each day)
