Five years ago, riots broke out in the streets of our country.
I delivered two sermons on the topic in an effort to explain the root causes of rioting and to urge my church members (especially the young adults) never to participate in such social unrest.
The response was interesting. Some thought the sermons were unnecessary. Others were offended by them. I actually lost two members.
Well, here we are five years later and things have only worsened. Mass protests are planned for this Saturday, so I am reposting my sermons in hope that they will dissuade the godly from participating and comfort those who are negatively impacted.
